Meet Our CoachesBruce Noble grew up in Moncton, New Brunswick and started playing guitar He moved to Los Angeles, California in 1979 to attend Hollywood’s famous
music school, Musician’s Institute,
GIT. Having built up his skills and experience in the United States, Bruce
then moved to Halifax, Canada, settling in to a busy teaching and performing
schedule
here in Nova Scotia. He taught at the Canadian Conservatory almost from its inception. Bruce helped develop and taught at their "Summer Rock", Rock Camp Program which has produced many of the best musicians and players in Canada. It was always a dream for him to open his own music school, bringing a wide variety of music to the community. In 2004 he opened Noble Music Studios in Lantz. The following year he ran the first Academy of Rock for one week in Milford. This proved to be such a success, such a wonderful opportunity for young musicians to play with others on the stage in performance, that we knew right away we would continue the program in coming years. It was enjoyed so much by staff and young rockers alike that Bruce decided to have a Junior as well as Senior Academy in 2006; held for three weeks in July. Already the word is out for 2007 and people are calling for information about the camps. Bruce thinks this year’s expanded Academy of Rock will be even more amazing! Along with Bruce, our 2009 coaches are:
